Bath's Annual Fringe Visual Arts Festival
FAB is Bath's only visual arts festival, we actively promote and celebrate contemporary art in the Bath area and beyond, showcasing early career artists and curators, and those who find it difficult to break into (or prefer to operate outside of) the gallery based art scene.

At 44AD Artspace, 4 Abbey Street BA1 1NN

OtoxGozo presents a new participation workshop by Harri Thompson, told through binaural 3D technology.  You will become fully immersed as the main character of two gritty short stories: performed in a pitch black room, through sensory deprivation, your ability to see will be removed, heightening your senses to focus on your surroundings through sound. Unable to speak, unable to move or even see this is the setting of the workshop where in our first short story 'Noises' you are put in the head of a sleep paralysis sufferer.

This dark and nightmarish piece is based on true stories from people's accounts of sleep paralysis. ‘Locked in’ is an emotional piece that centres around around a coma patient;it focuses on the reality of life, modern science and the human heart. Dealing with strong topics and difficult choice, but unable to react in anyway, these pieces will  allow you to put yourself mentally and physically into the life of the characters.
