The Future's so bright: talk and discussion
Thursday 9 June, 6:30 - 9pm BAS Gallery
Vision’s of the future?

Arts entrepreneur Simon Capes and Bard of Bath Thommie Gillow debate visions of the future of humanity. Are we headed for environmental catastrophe, war, credit crunch plus; or can the arts, along with people-power and advancing technology lead to a happier, more enlightened and peaceful society?
This short talk refereed by cultural studies scholar Dr Matthew Alford, will be a thought provoking presentation which we hope will inspire a lively audience discussion, and a ballot for the best argument! Come along if you have questions, your own ideas or just want a little food for thought.
