Bath's Annual Fringe Visual Arts Festival
FAB is Bath's only visual arts festival, we actively promote and celebrate contemporary art in the Bath area and beyond, showcasing early career artists and curators, and those who find it difficult to break into (or prefer to operate outside of) the gallery based art scene.
Please help support FaB!

FaB is voluntary and non-profit, we're looking for donations, please support us if you can localgiving.org/charity/fringe-arts-bath, or get in touch if you are interested in sponsorship: info@fringeartsbath.co.uk

This show represents an eclectic grouping of work from six Post-Graduates from Bath School of Art and Design.

Joanna Jacobs work looks at the lives of British ‘Travellers’. Doug Clark’s sculptures seek to reposition industrial plant as art-objects. Maggie Royle’s work re-contextualises secondary characters seen in Old Master paintings.

Jess Woodrow’s abstract paintings are built up of layers, creating sculptural surfaces. Catherine Knight takes ‘found’ photographs and paints imaginary histories that reference these old photographs. Carol Buddell’s work embraces a narrative and contrasts the painted quality of the portrait and the process of print, collage and mixed media.
