The Bath Open Art Prize, 1-7 June 2015

Artists in all mediums were invited to enter the Bath Open Art Prize, now in its 4th year. Selected works are being exhibited at 44AD Artspace during the FaB Festival.

We invite you, the viewers to visit and cast your vote for the winner of the People's Prize, and two judges will be selecting the overall winner. Prizes will be awarded during a late-night opening on Friday 5th June, 6-8pm.

Call for Entries:

Now in its 4th year, FaB are pleased to be once again organising this popular Open Art Prize. Open to visual artists working in any medium, shortlisted works will be exhibited at a curated exhibition held at 44AD Artspace 1st to 7th June 2015 during the FaB Festival.

The winner of the Open Prize will be selected by guest judge Richard Twose, 2nd Prize winner at the BP Portrait Prize 2014 (click to find out more about Richard) and David Hyde, painter and long-term teacher of Fine Art (more info coming soon) and receive a £100 prize as well as vouchers from Minerva Arts Supplies for the winner of The People’s Choice.

To enter please follow steps 1 and 2 below, then scroll down to part 3.

Up to 3 submissions can be made per artist, each submitted work needs to be accompanied by up to 2 jpeg images (300 dpi).
Entry fee is £16 per submission.
Applications deadline is 30th April 2015
Artists will be notified whether their works are selected by 12th May 2015
Works to be delivered to 44AD Artspace last weekend in May (full details to be sent with notification of acceptance)
The prize giving reception will be held on Friday 6th June.
