This is a solo pop up performance. Dressed in a bright yellow mackintosh with a frilly blue spotted shower cap, wellies, rubber gloves and swimming goggles, I will invite members of the public to throw water at me. I will use written signs rather than speaking. I want to be anonymous. There will be various water containers, including buckets, watering cans, water bombs, bubble blowers, sponges, flannels, squirters and funnels. This is a play on the name of Bath, to be in the bath, to be bathed by others. It is masochistic, and references other performances in which performers place themselves at the mercy of an audience. In between dousing sessions, I will dry myself off with a towel and return with fresh water.
