Exprssions of Research is coming to Keynsham & Radstock Autumn 2017

We are bringing the Expressions or Research exhibition to Keynsham Library's Art Wall 2-17th Sept, followed by Bath College's Somer Valley Campus in Radstock 20 Sept to 6th October.

Video, drawings, installation and newspapers will take over there spaces to engage you with scuentific research and art in a playful, thoughtful and visual way.

Five selected Artists and Researchers worked alongside each other throughout 2016, influencing each other’s work and processes, contributing to both artistic and scientific output, in order to present results and engage you in understanding what they do. The results presented here include drawings, performance, projections, sculpture, a poem and more.

We hope you find it interesting, educational and inspiring!

Art Science Bath - Collaborations in Art and Research

Artists have infiltrated five depts at the UoB!

Researchers and artists are working together to influence each other's work, study each other's methods, contribute to each other's output., in order to present results and engage you in understanding what they do.

The progress is recorded here in a small way through blogs & drawings, to share with you their experiences, their efforts and their thoughts. Please click on a department's name below to find out what they're up to.

The results will form a touring exhibition coming to a space near you in the autumn of 2016.

Fringe Arts Bath, the Public Engagement department at the University of Bath and the Edge Arts are collaborating to support the process these researchers and artists are undertaking.
