This show features the work of three artists from the Swansea MA course who have exhibited widely across Wales and the UK, winning national recognition in the process. These Wales based artists engage with a broad range of themes and work in a variety of mediums including painting, drawing, video and mixed-media installations.
The works explore new forms of painting as well as the visual language of graphics and the mechanics and psychology of visual perception.
More significantly all three artists address different questions surrounding what it is to be an artist in contemporary society. Whether this is through a reworking of tradition, working in collaboration, or through highlighting the role of the public. The end result is one that aims to involve, engage and intrigue its audience.
