My street photography aims to be natural and honest. By exhibiting in public places it as if a mirror has been held up to the situations that led to the photographs’ conception and it is hoped that viewers will move on to see the streets around them with a new found empathy towards fellow citizens.

First Impressions is a series of photographs that explores the connection I make with other people on the street. I aim to capture the immediate response and emotion of making contact with someone. It is the first impression of our meeting, and it is our only contact before we both move on along the street.
