Pop-Up Docs are back!

It is great to see Pop-Up Docs returning with not just one, but three screenings lined up.

Pop Up Docs is a pop-up cinema that screens the very best in award-winning documentary films in various alternative and sometimes unusual locations in Bath.

It aims to inspire people to think about the wider world in different ways by showing thought-provoking films that encourage people to engage with the world around them. Pop-Up Docs believe in making these films accessible to a wide variety of people by making the screenings affordable and operating on a not-for-profit basis.

This season starts during half-term week, and leads us through 'til Christmas:

GIRLS ROCK! Pop-Up Docs brings you the UK Premiere of this documentary about four girls who transform their lives at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp for Girls. Tues 28thOctober, 3pm at Komedia, Westgate St, Bath  

CATHY COME HOME: Ken Loach's powerful docudrama dealing with a young family's descent into homelessness. Fri 28th Nov, 8pm at St Michael's Church, Broad St, Bath

NANOOK OF THE NORTH: Robert Flaherty's classic film tells the tale of Inuit hunter Nanook and his family as they struggle to survive. Fri 12th Dec, 7.30pm at 44AD Artspace, Abbey St, Bath

Come along (FaB will be there watching too), relax with a drink and some popcorn and watch good films…. films that make you think about the world in a different way
