‘The most profound things are inexpressible’, Jenny Holzer, Truisms
For their curated film screening, Sightlines Projects invited artists who are interested in responding to the world we live in to submit short films that reflect their views, thoughts or feelings in considered, non-prescriptive, experimental ways; to express what may feel inexpressible by other means. The resulting screening presents an array of lived experience that reflects the intersection of the personal and political in thoughtful and thought-provoking ways.
Artists: Natasha Abrahams, Steve Burden, Myriam Cohenca, Maryam Hassanein, Alexandra Kumala, Lin Li, Kate McDonnell, Michael Mersereau, Marian Obando and Sally Waterman.
Inexpressible is curated by Sightlines Projects (Roz Bonnet and Sarah Knight)
