Kids/family drop in workshop with artist Sarah Gywer
“My work reflects on the themes of society, consumerism and celebrity. I like to to push textiles, particularly embroidery to new audiences ensuring textile art is appreciated as the fine art form it is. Currently 10,000s of tiny stabs is the perfect way to sum up the frustrations of millions, caused by the few. The world is not as divided as it appears, a few strong threads can hold it together, as long as we choose the right ones.”
