Friend of FaB, Jan Masny has made some awesome films for us this year - he even persuaded Arran Hodgson, FaB’s Founding Director, and Scarlett Mosnier, Curator and Lead Producer for FaB, to talk about Fringe Arts Bath, what it does, and what it means to them. Than you Jan - We hope you all enjoy!
Jan Masny is a photographer and filmmaker with over 20 years’ experience, combining analogue photographic techniques with contemporary digital production. Trained in London and holding a Master’s in Moving Image from Ravensbourne University, his work spans advertising, fashion, and moving image. Alongside his commercial practice, he creates personal films inspired by mountain climbing; his short Todra Gorge (2012) won 2nd Prize at Dublin’s Oddalenia Short Film Festival.
Clients include: Virgin Records, Sony, Toni&Guy, National Theatre, English National Opera, Science Museum, Random House, L’Officiel, ELLE, InStyle, Men’s Health, and more.
