Announcing the 86 Artists selected for the 2021 Bath Open Art Prize exhibition, open 20 to 31 October at 44AD

We received a range of submissions to the flash call-out for an exhibition to inhabit the front of This is not a Shop’s pop-up artspace.

Though it didn’t fit the plan, we selected two exhibitions: one perfect for the entrance space, and a second which we just couldn’t resist sharing with you so we made space….

This specially tailored award is being provided by Somerset Art Works (SAW), to contribute to development costs and mentoring, networking and funding advice. Submission deadline 26 September 2021.

We’re taking the festival online for 2020. For the first time since FaB first took over odd spaces around Bath in 2007 we won’t be appearing on your streets, instead we’re bringing art and events into your home, including opportunities for you to take part.

We’ve got 20 exhibition and event proposals for you to consider, with themes ranging from automation to girlhood, climate change to live performance, as well as the Bath Open Art Prize, FaB Photomarathon and more.
