This interactive exhibit is intended to connect visitors directly to the artwork. Designed to be held and used in a communal tea making ceremony.
By participating in this ritual, visitors will have a chance to step away from their everyday rush and reflect on the quiet, intentional acts that can often go unnoticed in our routines. Preparing food or drink can become a meditative and playful process.
I am interested in intentionally curating a space where people become more attuned to their senses: the smell of herbs, the texture of ceramic mugs, the warmth of the tea in their hands.
The act of brewing tea or making a drink becomes mindful, encouraging guests to slow down. To connect with their bodies and with one another, and contemplate the significance of these small, daily rituals. and re-engaging with the often forgotten act of play in an adult context.
Whether brewing tea, sharing food, or sitting together in silence— these objects help us to form community, build connections, and foster a sense of well-being.
