BIDDY is a performance event curated by Clare Carswell and Peta Lloyd showcasing works by experienced women performance artists over the age of fifty.

BIDDY’s performances by female artists over the age of 50 will highlight a broad range of issues including the changing body and physical appearance, the need to maintain and test endurance and strength, the ability to motivate and empower others and ideas related to the close and playful nature of women’s friendships.

45 Beats: A Soundwalk in the Dark is presented for headphones. An anonymous voice leads the listener through an unnamed woods where the listener falls through leaves and is taken through several sensorial worlds. The journey pushes the conflict between reality and fiction, the improbability of time and becoming a person that you are not.
