A single Anubis Schoolboy traveled to Venice in search of carnival, circus, fairground.

Venice was dark. His trip was documented and upon his return he searched for the ghosts of Victorian performers. Here are a handful of their stories collected into an installation.

Heather Tweed, Artist, Writer, researcher.

Wanda Opalinska is an actress, writer and researcher.

Alison Young, Chair of the British Music Hall Society and researcher/writer.

All three have a particular interest in 19th Century theatre and entertainment.

Curated by Heather Tweed
