Pedro Ramalho, Transcending Shadows 1

Curator Pedro Ramalho

Curated by Pedro Ramalho

Pedro Ramalho, (born April 16, 1969, Portugal, lives Bath, England), is a British artist most known for using oil painting as a medium and for using his own life as the subject of his works.

Inner psychic confessionality permeates Pedro’s works. As an ardent supporter of existentialism, Pedro approaches the works of Jean-Paul Sartre with a genuine sense of loss for his homeland and a poignant exploration of the theme of loneliness. Pedro's latest endeavor involves curating an exhibition centered around fibromyalgia, a testament to his unwavering belief in the transformative power of art. Through this initiative, he aims to spotlight the resilience of artists facing health challenges, creating a platform that fosters understanding and empathy.

With Pedro Ramalho at the helm, "Fibromyalgia Perspectives" promises to be a thought-provoking and visually stunning exploration of the intersection between art and the human experience.
