Bath Tiny Galleries
The call-out to Artists:
We are a group of young illustrators who are excited about the opportunity to bring this project to life. As we are just starting our journey as professional creatives, we understand how difficult it can be to constantly apply to and get rejected from galleries.
For this reason, we are installing ‘tiny galleries’ around Bath for Fringe Arts Bath Festival that will be non-competitive and open to all. We would love to create spaces where young artist can see their work displayed to help motivate them to explore their creativity as they become older. We are also keen to display adult’s artwork from a range of artistic backgrounds.
These galleries will be displayed in multiple independent businesses around the city to encourage visitors to explore the city while they visit the different tiny galleries.

We are a trio of young creatives who met studying an illustration degree. Between us, we have a varied skill set and are passionate about learning new skills. Although we have never worked on a project the three of us are all members of ‘The Everyday Collective’ and have been working in the same studio for the past year.

Submission deadline: Friday 12th April at 23h59 GMT
Media accepted: Photography, Drawing, Painting, Illustration, Graphic Design (any 2D medium)
Free submission. All are welcome to apply, of any age, status, and from anywhere in the world.
If selected, we ask Artists for a £22 contribution (like crowdfunding) and/or to give some of their time, as we are all volunteers. Please read our FAQs here to find out more.

NB: please include the exhibition / project name in the email title.
max 200 words about your work and how it fits the call-out (written, audio file, video or another way to suit you).
some images of the work, or links to video / performance work (or existing work if it hasn’t been made yet).
any relevant links, if you have them (though it’s not a requirement and Curators might not have the capacity to visit them all).
of course please include any questions you have.
