GRIPE: Bath's Tiny LoFi Indie Film Show 2024
The call-out to Artists:
A truly grassroots film show, celebrating DIY, old school, and lofi methods! After all, high definition and 8K resolution don’t define a good film. Decades of classics existed before HD! So you don't need a 4k camera to make a great story or imagery! Make a movie, make it with a friend, make it with a field, it doesn't mater. Think old b-movies and found footage films, like Blarwitch Project, but doesnt have to be horror!
Use your phone, or use a vintage camcorder, just make a movie.

Submission deadline: Friday 12th April at 23h59 GMT
Media accepted: Films; no shorter than 5mins, in any format, sent via any file-sharing method. Films need to be of a narrative nature, rather than abstract. Think ‘sit down and watch’, rather than an AV instalation.
Free submission. All are welcome to apply, of any age, status, and from anywhere in the world.
If selected, we ask Artists for a £22 contribution (like crowdfunding) and/or to give some of their time, as we are all volunteers. Please read our FAQs here to find out more.

max 200 words about your work and how it fits the call-out (written, audio file, video or another way to suit you).
some images of the work, or links to video / performance work (or existing work if it hasn’t been made yet).
any relevant links, if you have them (though it’s not a requirement and Curators might not have the capacity to visit them all).
